Dr. Xiwei Huang is currently a Professor at Hangzhou Dianzi University, China. He obtained the B.Sc. degree in Information Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology, China in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2015. From February 2011 to January 2014, he was also attached to the Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab of the Institute of Microeconomics, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, for joint Ph.D. study. He was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from May 2019 to June 2020. He was a recipient of the Provincial Young and Middle-aged Academic Leader Award, Qianjiang Talent project award of Zhejiang province, and Talent Cultivation project award of Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology.
In recent years, he has obtained research fundings from National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key Research and Development Project of China, Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China, Public Welfare Technology Application Research Project of Zhejiang, Fundamental Research Funds for the Provincial Universities of Zhejiang, etc. He has more than 60 journal and 30 peer-reviewed conference publications, 2 books, 2 book chapters, and several issued patents. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a Senior Member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics and the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology, a member of the IoT Committee of the China Institute of Communications, a corresponding member of the Youth Professional and Technical Group of the IoT Expert Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and an Executive Director of the Hangzhou Artificial Intelligence Society.
